The purpose of the plan presented in this document is to inform Les Entreprises Marc Dubé Inc.'s customers, as well as its partners and suppliers, of the company's business continuity plan, during this Coronavirus period. The current situation is changing, and the organization will continue to comply with the rules imposed by the provincial and federal governments. The company's mission is to be able to serve its customers in a safe manner and to protect its employees by implementing new procedures specific to the situation we are all currently experiencing.

Services offered by Les Entreprises Marc Dubé Inc.

The organization and its team manages several commercial parking lots in downtown Gatineau. Most parking lots are open to the public, and mainly used by public service workers. Les Entreprises Marc Dubé Inc. also manages several private parking lots for its clients and their tenants.

Managing operations during a global pandemic

Although the workforce and demand have greatly diminished, the organization continues to provide all services to its clients. Administration and management employees are available to assist clients and business partners by phone and email, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition, customers now always have access to our call center. If it is an emergency, the call center will immediately contact a member of management to assist the customer.

Finally, the parking supervisor works Monday to Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to patrol the parking lots, assist customers with the method of payment, repair and maintain parking meters and disinfect them every day.

Contactless payment

In all parking lots, the customer can pay via the parking meter with a credit card or coins. We still encourage our customers to use our mobile application, to make a contactless payment. You must download the BLINKAY application on your smartphone to make your payment. Each of the parking lots has a location code which is written on the sign next to the parking meter.

Human resources management in times of a global pandemic

To be able to serve our customers well, it is essential for the organization to implement strict and safe procedures to protect employees against the dangers to which they may be exposed. Here is the list of measures implemented to protect employees:

  • Eliminate tandem parking (jockey) which required employees to have direct contact with the customers.
  • Provide employees with masks, gloves as well as hand sanitizer and a sink for hand cleaning.
  • Provide employees with all the products necessary for cleaning their workspace (vehicle and parking booth).
  • Provide employees with office materials and equipment to work from home as needed.
  • Daily disinfect the common areas of offices and bathrooms.
  • Require each employee to take their temperature every morning, and to complete a form provided by management in connection with the various symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Offer flexibility in scheduling and teleworking as needed.
